• 1934 — Airain was founded by the Dodane family, establishing the brand later associated with French military chronographs.
• 1950 — Airain launched the original Type 20 in the 1950s as part of the era of French military pilot’s flyback chronographs.
• 2014 — After relaunching sister brand Lebois & Co, the team behind the modern revival began work that would eventually reunite and relaunch Airain.
• 2020 — Airain began its modern chapter with the reintroduction of the Type 20 Flyback Chronograph.
• 2026 — Airain expanded the line with current core Type 20/21 models and limited editions including ACE, Furtivité, Up in the Air, and the 70 ANS anniversary edition.
